Every year the in the under 8 age group, teams from the Engadine Dragons and the Bosco Bulldogs play in the annual Val Kearns Shield as we remember and pay tribute to a very special lady who contributed so much to both clubs and more broadly to junior rugby league in the Sutherland Shire.
In 2020 for the first time the Val Kearns Shield will be played at Yarrawarrah Oval on Saturday, 15th August 2020 kicking off at 9:55am.
