Working with Children Check - Have you got yours?

Have you got your working with Children Check? In 2017 it is compulsary for all volunteers (trainers, managers, coaches, etc) anyone involved with a team and children to have the Working with Children check. If you do not have a WWC number you will not be permitted on the field.

The ramifications are high with fines up to $50,000. The process for the check is quite simple. The application form can now be filled out online, When you have completed the application form, you will receive an Application number (APP) by email.

Click here to read the Working with Children Broshure.

Take this Application number and proof of your identity to a NSW motor registry or NSW Government Access Centre to confirm your identity. Once your application has been processed and you are cleared, you will receive your Working With Children Check number (WWC) by email (or post if you do not have an email address).

This is free to all volunteers. More information can be found on the working with children website.

Once you have completed the above process and you have received your “Working with Children Check number you can add it to your Sporting Pulse user profile.
